相信看過The Chemical Brothers現場表演或者Live DVD的朋友們一定想問為什麼有那麼多器材？因為他們所使用的器材非常壯觀也很有舞台效果，就連Underworld現場表演把Console都搬上台了還是比不上.....

The Chemical Brothers現場表演器材之多是很難有其他電子樂團能比上的，而且使用的器材也是大有來頭，就在去年Remix雜誌專訪的時候他們公布了壓箱寶！


就讓我們看看The Chemical Brothers源自於對器材的熱愛

Computer, DAW （電腦/數位音樂工作站）

這是07年的器材，我猜現在應該是Mac Pro跟Apple Logic Pro 8，對於Mac User來說應該大家都同一套！

Console（混音台）
SSL AWS 900+ console

這台就不是誰都有了，台幣快300萬的Console，果然是拿過4座葛萊美獎的電音天團啊！

AKAI的MPC是Hip Hop音樂的經典器材，MPC3000算是蠻多電子音樂創作者在用的取樣機（BT也是愛用者），上面所列的器材都是古董了，我個人比較有興趣的是Sonor Mini-Movement drum system，因為我連聽都沒聽過......

他們用的樂器多到我不知道該怎麼講...軟體部分就不說了，上面最常見的經典器材包括Korg MS系列、Roland Juno-106/Jupiter系列跟SH-101（沒有TB-303？），比較少見的經典器材包括ARP 2600、Moog Memorymoog、EMS Synthi AKS，史前巨獸級的包括Roland System 700 synths、Wiard 300 and 1200 Series Modular synths，最後就是目前還買的到有Clavia Nord系列、Minimoog、Alesis Andromeda A6（沒有挖豆腐跟病毒？）。

很好我們家也有Empirical Labs EL8！！Chandler Limited TG1國外很多大咖愛用，像最近要來的Linkin Park也是愛用者！Eventide DSP4000也算是蠻紅的器材，相較於樂器，他們使用的後製器材並不多。

嗯..非常標準，跟台灣多數錄音室用的一樣都是1031A+NS10，唯一比較特別的就是Dynaudio ABES subwoofer加M2。

Mixdown（混音後製）
Miloco Studios: the Neve Room

Miloco Studio位於倫敦，關於這個就非常有趣了！有趣的地方並不是那間錄音室，有趣的地方是他上面說the Neve Room，所以他們在家用SSL AWS 900+出去後製用Neve！？ 天團真是讓人猜不透啊..


以上就是2007年The Chemical Brothers所使用的器材，相信08年又會多了不少器材，因為又要發精選了！
